Our theme for the 3rd term of our academic year was around the world.
We took a trip around the world and explored continents in faraway places. We learnt a little Geography, a little history and lots of interesting facts about many of the countries of the world. As we explored, we made mini-encyclopaedias about the countries most interesting to us. We learnt how to research information and from complicated information, we presented our information using sentences so others can understand what we have done. To round it all up, we chose the most fascinating projects and gave the students a chance to show off their public speaking skill while presenting countries of the world to our students and teachers. We’d like to give a hearty congratulation to Varya Naumova whose lovely presentation of Mexico won her first place in this event. Ayla Weinstein (Japan) and Katerina Facconi (France) came second and third respectively. We also acknowledge the effort put in by Anna Nikulina (Italy), Anna Patrakhina(Australia), Savva Yelin (Brazil), Liza Byvsheva (England), Angelika Dilanyan (USA), Anna-Sofia Averyanova (India) and Lara Arsenyeva (UAE).

I liked the competition a lot, because I learnt many interesting facts about some countries.
I think the best project is about Mexico. That work is very beautiful and I liked the information about it.
I think Barbara Naumova (The winner) knows her country best of all, because she thoroughly presented her country.
I really like the competition because I took the first place. It gave me a lot of emotions and I learned new things about other countries. Also, I really want to visit Japan. This is my dream and after Ayla’s project, I want to go there now more than ever.
