We all have a lot to be thankful for in our lives, so it was important to remind ourselves of what we need to be grateful for, and what is a better way to do that than by celebrating Thanksgiving! This week students of Centers 3 and 4 did exactly that.
Students participated in a variety of activities. They played archery to show how sharing skills between cultures helped the Pilgrims survive, and completed numerous puzzles and games that taught them the holiday’s beginnings and traditions. Students even made greetings cards expressing their gratitude to their loved ones complete with colourful turkeys. On Thursday students were also treated to a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
The week was a success with all the events well-attended and students demonstrated their new knowledge in the Friday’s assembly. If there’s anything you need to know about Thanksgiving, ask Centre 3 and 4 students.
