Last Friday the 4th grade were blessed with a very special Christmas event. The English department worked together to give the students their Christmas quest. The children were split into three groups and had to work as a team to overcome three joyous and unique tasks. Firstly, they had to guess the famous Christmas carols and tunes, testing their musical intelligence. After that they were quizzed on all things Christmas and festive, giving some of them a chance to show off their knowledge. Finally, the students needed to mime out hilarious Christmas words in front of their peers, a game which brough so much laughter to the class. Like all of the Golden Section events there was a very good balance of having fun while giving students an opportunity to practice their English in a practical way. The whole event set the scene well and raised everyone’s spirt for the Christmas period ahead. A brilliant and memorable way to sign off the year.
