Centre 2 had a wonderful Paddington book party!
The students worked hard at every station, they were motivated to prepare the best present for their beloved Paddington! Paddington went back to Peru and missed London dearly. To cheer him up, the students had to collect puzzles they later put together to mail to Paddington in a giant envelope!
The students had to follow their map around London, hitting all the famous landmarks. At the London Eye station they learned a chant and practiced their jump rope skills. The fun they had was heard all throughout the school! At the Tower Bridge station, their book knowledge was put to the test with a quiz. At the Big Ben station they got to show their creative side and made beautiful bookmark they can use in the future. Last but not least, they visited Buckingham Place, where they practiced their spelling and learned about the sights that they went to!
Paddington sent the kids a snack as a thank you for thinking of him and cheering him up!
