On Thursday, April 24th, the English department hosted the much-anticipated Centre 3 Phrase of the Week Battle, and what a delight it was for parents and children alike!
The event, organized by our dedicated English teachers, aimed to reinforce the phrases that our kids have been practicing since Grade 1.
The atmosphere was lively as teams of students and one team of parents faced off in four thrilling rounds filled with laughter and creativity. They engaged in exciting activities like gap fills and Pictionary and even showcased their acting skills through skits and miming. It was a joy to watch them lively shout phrases such as «What happened?» and «It doesn’t matter!» amidst the chaos of giggles.
To top off the fun, the parents of Centre 3 formed their own team and, in a surprising twist, emerged as the champions! It was a fabulous day that underscored the importance of learning through play! Thank you, parents, for joining us and making the event a million times more cheerful and exciting!
