On Wednesday September 18th, the English Department held a Welcome party for Centre 1. Six beautiful princesses came from all around the world to visit our school. But there was a problem... They couldn’t speak English!
Luckily, there was a magical fairy who offered her help. The princesses needed to get 36 magic roses, and she would make a potion that makes them speak English!
They asked for Centre 1’s help, and Centre 1 did! Centre 1 went through 6 stations, collecting a rose at each! They had to match letters, play bingo, «dance and freeze», solve animal puzzles, follow each other in «Simon Says» and finally solve shape and colour puzzles.
They are a bright group of kids, so they went through the stations with ease and helped the princesses get the roses, and now they speak English. After the Welcome Party, both teachers and students are excited to start English!
