Do you believe in magic?
On 22 of December our six graders dived into the wizarding world. All of them got the Hogwarts acceptance letters the day before. After sorting ceremony first year wizards were introduced to their Houses: Slytherin, Gryffindor, Rawenclaw and Hufflepuff.
During the whole day all of the wizards had a chance to earn points for their Houses. Our professors asked them tricky questions and if the students gave the answer the professors needed they got 10 points. Some of the students were more active, some of them less. We all could see the points afterwards. In the end of the day everyone who was accepted to Hogwarts Academy of Witchcraft and Wizardy gathered in The Great Hall. Professor Albus Dumbledore held his speech, greeted the newcomers and in a matter of minutes wizards went to their classes: potion, divination, flying, transfiguration. Our strict but fair professors (Marina Igorevna, Marina Grigoryevna, Tatyana Andreevna, Vladislav) tought spells, brewed potions, tought methods of divining the future, or gathering insights into future events, through various rituals and tools and of course students learnt how to become the best in the game of qudditch. In the end of the lesson the House gained points. After the classes all the visitors could enjoy the Harry Potter play and sing along Rocking around the Christmas tree. According to the results the House earned the most points was Slytherin. All the wizards from the House were awarded with Cups.
