The date of the 8th grade’s annual Poetry Lounge could not have been more perfect. Themed Humour and Jokes, the event took place on April 1st. The eight graders had to learn by heart and translate a funny poem of their choice, and they did rise up to the challenge. From Roald Dahl and Ogden Nash to Ken Nesbitt and Barbara Vance, the humourous gems got a new life in the hands of our students. Who knows, maybe this will be the beginning of a new career for some of them? In addition, we can’t help mentioning the hosts of the event, Doronichev Grisha and Lika Dilanyan, who did a brilliant job.
