Golden Section recently organized an exciting and educational board games ‘party’ event to test the English abilities of the 7th grade. The event consisted of six different tables, each hosting a unique game that focused on a specific aspect applying English in an exciting way. The games were English championship, Scattegories, Last word, Taboo, Bananagrams, and English paperchase. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and anticipation as the children eagerly participated in the competition.

The event not only allowed the students to put their English knowledge to the test but also fostered healthy competition and a sense of camaraderie among them. It provided an opportunity for the students to showcase their talents and abilities in a fun and engaging manner. 

After a series of challenging rounds, Sasha Grishanova and Emil Tolpin emerged as the victors, securing the first-place position. These two both showed exceptional English skills and strategic thinking to propel them to the top spot, showcasing there dedication and hard work. Not far behind, Nikita Segrenev and Sasha Pyatnova secured the second-place position, displaying their impressive linguistic abilities and competitive spirit. The former securing an all-expenses paid trip to a café, while the latter two were rewarded with a tea party at the end of term for their class. 

Viva Kavyshkin, demonstrating a commendable performance, claimed the third-place position. His determination and commitment to improving his English language skills were evident throughout the competition. 

The success of this event highlighted the importance of incorporating interactive activities into the curriculum to enhance language learning. It encouraged students to actively participate and develop their English skills beyond traditional classroom settings. 

Overall, the school board games event was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on both the participants and the organizers. It not only celebrated the achievements of the top performers but also motivated other students to strive for excellence in their English language abilities.
