Last Thursday, April 18th, an exciting event unfolded in the 5th grade classroom: “A Trip to Knowledgeland”. This captivating game transported students to the realm of Knowledge, where they encountered a series of fun challenges along the way.
Students assumed the roles of brave “travelers,” forming six dynamic teams. Guided by our dedicated teachers, who served as the esteemed “crew members,” the students faced quizzes, crosswords, charades, sentence unscrambling, and memory drawing tasks.
Throughout the event, teams earned points for their achievements, with additional secret points awarded by teachers for English proficiency, teamwork, and exemplary behaviour. As the game drew to a close, participants eagerly assembled fragments of maps depicting Great Britain, racing against the clock to complete the final challenge.
Ultimately, Team 3 emerged victorious, with each member receiving well-deserved certificates excusing them from homework duties. The atmosphere was electric, filled with competitiveness, camaraderie, and friendly rivalry. All teams demonstrated impressive teamwork and creativity, making “A Trip to Knowledgeland” an enriching and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
