On Thursday the 23rd of May the parents of the 7th grade had the pleasure of attending a unique and delightful event at Golden Section school, where small groups of six students recited their poems in English and Russian to the parents around the grounds of the school.
The setting was absolutely picturesque, with the beautiful weather adding to the overall charm of the event. The theme of the poems was comedy, and it was heartwarming to see the students confidently recite their chosen pieces with humour and flair.
The parents were split up into smaller groups to watch and listen to each station of poem readers, which we dotted around the outside of the school, allowing for an intimate and engaging experience.
One of the highlights of the event was that everyone drank tea at each poetry station, which added a cozy and communal touch to the proceedings. It was a lovely way to bring people together and create a warm and inviting atmosphere. After the parents had finished listening to all the poems, they all gathered in the school hall for a speech. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the talent and creativity of the students, as well as to celebrate the joy of poetry and language.
Overall, the event was a resounding success, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the students and teachers involved. It was a memorable and enjoyable experience that showcased the vibrant spirit of Golden Section school.
